Furious 7 Movie Review by the Movie Slackers
Movie Slackers Furious 7 review with Rob and Sean prove that, even though this is the seventh installment of the franchise, these films keep getting better. This time around has Jason Statham as the baddie, Deckard Shaw the brother of the gang’s last enemy, Owen Shaw. The film is a roller coaster ride from start to finish with a rather classy, yet tearful memorial for Paul Walker who died in 2013 before filming ended. The film boasts over the top action sequences, strong performances with a nice turn from the always reliable Kurt Russell who plays the character, Mr. Nobody. He may or may not be who he seems to be. Statham usually associated as the hero in most of his films, takes his turn as Shaw, a former British SAS officer out to avenge his brother. The film is a chaotically timed action piece that really never lets up until the send off for Paul Walker. The entire cast returns, are giving it their all and doing a great job, too. If you liked the others, you will love this one. Don’t look for much realism, but just sit back and enjoy the ride.
The movie was written by Chris Morgan and directed by James Wan. It stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris Bridges, Kurt Russell and Jason Statham.
